Kasha
The contagious personality and smile of this blonde sweetheart get your attention even before the tone of her voice sweeps across the room. Kasha, Country Vocal Artist and Songwriter, was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta.
This Edmonton born Country singer/songwriter has an endless supply of creative talent. Not only does she sing, she also teaches piano and dance/creative movement programs. Music has been a huge part of Kasha’s life going back to the age of 4, when she started singing at weddings and senior homes (accompanied by her father on the guitar).
Throughout the past 5 years Kasha has been a part of various projects and performances including anything from private functions to events with up to 70,000 people around Alberta. One of her many accomplishments includes working with a team in creating a 3-song CD to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. The project was called “Melodies for Memories” and her song, “Where is the Good in Goodbye”, has seen airtime on CBC North radio.
Another proud achievement for this local singer came on June 14, 2010 when she won the audience’s hearts and votes, and was declared the winner of the 2010 Global Country Star Search. She is now working with Global Country and hopes to be in the recording studio very soon. Kasha will also be heading to Nashville and Pigeon Forge in March 2011 to compete in the North American Country Music Associations International Competition.
In addition to her music, Kasha devotes her time to her loving husband and their two beautiful daughters.
Kasha finds it a true blessing to be a performer with the ability to make others feels the same way she does when both listening to and performing songs!
